Municipal Lien Certificate Information
Municipal Lien Certificates:
The fee for a MLC is $50.00 per parcel. The fee is the same whether it is a residential or commercial parcel.
A written request required and must including the following information:
- parcel id
- current property owner name
- property address
- if the MLC is for a Sale or Refinance
Please include a check, payable to the Town of Norfolk ($50.00 per parcel), and a self-addressed & stamped return envelope.
Please note we have 10 days to respond however this office does process these requests regularly and do our best to get them returned as soon as possible.
We do not provide figures verbally. Should you need tax information prior to receiving a MLC you may request that information by emailing the office at:
