The Norfolk Cultural Council (NCC), a member of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, has been providing and supporting cultural events in and around the Town of Norfolk for over 30 years.  The NCC's purpose is to support public programs that promote education, diversity and excellence in the arts, humanities and interpretive science in Norfolk and across the commonwealth.

The NCC has the right and responsibility of awarding grants that address cultural needs specific to their community. In the past, we have funded programs such as After School Art & Science Education as well as Art, Science, and Humanities Programing at the Norfolk Public Library, Concerts at the Norfolk Senior Center, The Hocomock Film Festival, Franklin's Live Arts Concert Series, Local Theater Productions including A Christmas Carol at the Norfolk Grange, The Massachusetts Walking Tour Concert, Music Therapy at H. Olive Day School, Music with Mr. Dave at the Norfolk Cooperative Preschool, Nature Programs at Mass Audubon Stony Brook, Norfolk Recreation Summer Concert Series, Pastel Painting Workshops, The Norfolk Quill, and More...

The NCC generally meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Lounge of the Norfolk Library and meetings are open to the general public. (Please note: for the time being, meetings are held virtually via ZOOM. In accordance with open meeting law, these meetings are accessible to the public via a link on mytowngovernment.org.)

Specific meeting times can be found on mytowngovernment.org and on the Norfolk Public Library events calendar. For more information about the council, please contact us via email, visit us on Facebook, or follow us on Instagram.
