norfolk-location-mapNorfolk is a rural suburban town located in Norfolk County, Massachusetts approximately 30 minutes southwest of the city of Boston. It officially became an independent town on February 23, 1870, breaking away from Wrentham, Franklin. Walpole and Medway.

For a relatively small town, Norfolk has some robust municipal services available to residents. Norfolk has its own K-6 Schools and is one of three towns participating in the King Philip Regional School District. The town has its own PoliceFire, and Water departments as well as a growing Library.
